Hello world!

So I’ve made a few updates to the blog recently, thanks to my CSS wizard Onno Schwanen in the Netherlands. Thanks Onno for being so patient with my requests.

I’m really looking forward to using the new platform for Twitter updates, and I love the ability to post videos and slideshows. My next entry will most likely be from the Rally To Restore Sanity in Washington DC on October 30 with John Stewart (and don’t forget Steven Colbert’s dueling March To Keep Fear Alive), which I’m attending as part of my broader Tea Party project. So check back soon.

World Trade Center Project

I started shooting at World Trade Center long before the mosque controversy erupted because I love the way the early morning light reflects off the pavement into the faces of commuters. Now the project seems more relevant and I’m planning to document protests around Ground Zero as the mosque takes shape.

India Videos!

I went to India in early July to shoot the wedding of a former student. These videos are of our driver, Babu, and of food preparation at the Tamarind Tree in Bangalore. Pictures from the wedding can be seen here.
